my friend got a comment saying how beautiful one of her pictures was.the sexiest thing she pins is wedding dresses for her daughter, …friend went to the commenters boards and it was real close to soft porn….
looks like pinterest is getting lots of attention and not from the right people…

well, trash comments have been on blogs for years, so trash on Pinterest was just a matter of time.
Will zynga soon be making games for Pintrest as well?

right….its going to be interesting to see what happens w ith pinterest….its just a baby , just starting…..
my friend was a little put off by the commenter and afraid that it would mar her boards… i hope that kind of thing wont scare away good people….she hasnt done much online…
im on an industry forum thats been getting lots of spam, pills and drugs, and i have seen some spam on here too,,,,from the naughty girls…

@rich-brooks remember?, several of us got posts from girls wanting us to look at their sites.it wasnt business oriented, not ours anyway!! lol……… a few of us talked about it in the posts.
..i think the leaders might have taken them off…. i havent got any private problems from anyone…

@annfurnivall, I experienced something similar on Pinterest just last weekend, when my name got mentioned in the description of a pin. Was something along the lines of ‘I wanted to show my followers (@names) how I lost xx pounds in xx time’. When I checked I noticed that all the pins were showing half naked girls, with basically the same (or similar) description. I wanted to remove my name but
a) wasn’t able to find it back (seems the original names were replaced by new names…)
b) wasn’t able to flag the post as inappropriate
I am wondering now how I can avoid having my name linked to some suspicious pins.

IKKK…that was my friends concern too…i will report if i ever find out more… @claudiapoeckl and i couldnt figure out why would they send pictures like that to other women?

@claudiapoeckl I had the same thing happen to me. I guess they are just picking random names from popular groups, I couldn’t find my connection to the person who pinned my name.

Same here, exactly same message… couldn’t find my name. It’s just spammers spamming for links.
As far as where Pinterest is going…I’m betting Google will gobble them up sometime in the next 6 months.

@claudiapoeckl, exactly the same here. If I have been tagged on Pinterest, no body else will know I was, so I thought that the main goal on this specific situation, was that they are trying to show me their product (thinking positive), or, if go back to their board and click one of their pictures they were going to send to malicious pages (thinking negative). So, I decided not to discover what their intentions are doing this!
At the end, I was going to loose more than what I was going to gain.
But in a general view, Pinteres has given me more than what I have been expecting.
