Great idea, Miss Annie. I joined up. I always love a challenge. And it’s passed time I expand my connections on LinkedIn… just put it off too long. So I’m happy yall have started this… as it’s always easier for me to stick to my goal when I have others to be accountable to.

I am always wanting & willing to learn from others & more than willing to help others to get things right!

In the few days of joining this project, I have met some great people, helped a few with LinkedIn Profile refinements & picked up quite a few tips & we haven’t officially launched yet!

I believe that anyone can only benefit from joining this project but only if they can commit to the time commitment (very small) & input required to make it work for all of us already involved & those wishing to work with us!

I will gladly copy & paste the original content sent to me from Des Walsh, if you want me to Rich but the link I’ve pasted above & below, does contain it all & it’s easy for anyone to share this link: http://plancast.com/p/ded8 with anyone they wish to invite to this project.

@a2z4u Annie, I use to have that same thought, but they only allow one post – one club. I understand as it unnecessarily pushes down new original forums and sort of acts like spam, if you think about it. Plus, it encourages people to visit all three forums, as you never know where the topic of things like Pinterest will show up… or more obviously obscure topics that don’t really fit one particular club.
Trust me… people will find the post and comment, if they’re interested. Just make sure they’re no affiliate links in link postings and all will be fine.
About the group… I’m really excited about Monday. I’m thinking I saw a schedule of some sorts somewhere, but seem to recall we Americans would be in our sleepy time hours then. That’s fine with me, as I write in the wee hours of the night as a rule. I never get bumped off the net, can upload and download without interference, and get to talk to old students and colleagues around the world.
But do tell me what time specifically… and better to share here, than repeat yourself 100 times.

@rich-brooks You know, when I first saw “linking blitz,” I was thinking of the random acts of like-like-liking and link-link-linking just for the sake of numbers.
So when I read Des’ short and very succinct description of his goals for the group, I was very pleased to see that this BLITZ was NOT like that. A truly collaborative and helpful challenge event, as far as the goals are concerned.
But… to each his own, lol… so we shall see what happens after all the good intentions and ingredients get mixed together and bake and shake out over time, lol. Whatever… I’m in.

Thanks for posting this, Annie. Although I’m too late to sign up, I’ve signed up for updates for when the next one rolls around. I have several commitments over the next month anyway that wouldn’t have made this time around very fruitful for me… or others. Hope to make it on the next go ’round.
