Why I Can’t Edit Facebook Ad? (5 posts)

    This is the error I get when I try to edit one of ads in Facebook campaign.

    Also under status column of Facebook ads usually you get three options:

    1. Active2. Pause 3. Completed.
    Does any one knows when and why these three options convert to 2 ? 
    Completed and deleted.

    Without looking at your Facebook ad page, there’s not much specific info I could give you however, it’s most likely that you set a specific date range and the end date has passed so it is “complete” and not “current”.  Just a guess. =)

    You are dead right, that was my guess as well. 

    If you have specific dates set for a specific ad, can’t you change the dates after the expiry date?

    What you can do is just create a new ad from the existing ad into a new campaign, @rshahbaz – it will save everything even the targeting and all the copy/layout etc.    Just go into the ad and click the Create a Similar Ad link.

    Yes, that will be a good idea but only thing is that you got to wait for the FB ad approval again. :-)
