If the business is a chain- then each location could have one…other than that I think people appreciate one-stop shopping so to speak.

i would be wary but can see it if there are 2 distinct parts of the business…like one part for dog things and one part for cat things……….or one part wholesale and one part retail…. or maybe the geography reasons.

Also if you’re offering different products. Sometimes a particular company will offer entirely different cultures within their product lines.
Good thing there’s no limit to how many pages you can make… currently.

@steve-ferreira My client is a travel services provider and having multiple accounts makes perfect sense for them. They are able to cater to each region (containing several locations) without fragmenting a lot or being an overall service without personalisation.

What is the best way to manage Facebook for a restaurant with multiple locations within a similar area? There is already a fairly active brand page, however I want to make sure people can find and check into the locations. How much content should be included in the individual location pages vs. the brand page — without it being confusing to existing customers?
Anyone have any experience with this?

Multiple locations is one valid reason to have multiple FB pages. It’s been my experience that usually the corporate brand provides these guidelines. If in your case they do not, then anything that is offered exclusively or is specifically related to your location that benefits the market – that is what you share! Good luck! :)
