  • Have been trying to figure out a success formula and have come up with some based on my experience so far: Be GenuineBe FunnyBe InformativeTiming

I am sure there must be few other things also. Please share what’s your secret for creating killer content.

    More on this here:http://sovedo.com/the-secret-of-creating-that-killer-content-for-facebook/

  • know  what turns  your  audience on and  give them a lot of it….in my  case  pictures of  great  inventory..but in a way   my  content is  the actual  store that they are actually interested in…..  then  facebook is  naturally  good, becase they like  the store…..   http://www.facebook.com/greenoakantiques

  • On our company page (http://www.facebook.com/CanyonCreek), posting pictures of our coworkers, visitors and customer projects gets us the most feedback.

I think people like seeing behind the curtain of a company, to get a feel for the company culture and to put faces to names…

  • @isomesh Do a post asking your fans to tell you exactly the kinds of contents they would want to be seeing on your page or they could suggest to you topics they would want you to cover.
This would do 2 things;1) This post will be highly engaging because you’ve thrown the doors open.2) They’d engage with your posts from henceforth cuz they asked for it
    Hope this helps.
    Regards…

  • It seems to me that photos and pictures are the unsung hero.

  • We manage all different types of business Facebook pages and when we started it was pictures, videos, behind the scenes, quotes, stories anything we could think of. It was still just one way communication.

It all worked but we never got the reach or interaction we wanted for our clients.Without engagement your just not doing anyone any favors, no word of mouth is being spread widely and no immediate growth for the company will happen.

We sat the whole team down and after about 4 days and 12 pots of coffee we came up with the contests we run for our clients now!

I’m not saying you have to sign -up with us but if you want the results we give our clients it only costs 99$ a month.

Here is a link to view our different contests

  • I agree with ashley.  Competitions seem to be a good kick start to getting people to your page.

  • Oh yes, contests provide that much needed boost to engagement on your page  and also helps bringing in  organic fans.

  • I do the social media for a locally owned gym and at first I tried all different kinds of posts: informative, photos, videos, contests, articles, tips, questions etc. From our stats, the thing that gets most people talking is definitely photos – generally that behind the scenes stuff!
