    IN INSIGHTS, WHEN  FACEBOOK  explains  total reach they say   it means   that   X  unique people  saw  the page  during  the week…………. if  A PERSON  saw the page  every day of the week…would  that  count    as 1 unique  person  or  7?   

    this is  so  convoluted  tome…. i imagine  each day  counts as a seperate view   but  thats not  what unique  means in the  real world…

    It counts as 1 unique person

    But it’s not as simple as that because most people are not coming to your page, they are seeing your posts in their stream or “news feed”  Facebook is counting the impressions a post makes. It only counts it once for each person even if your post loads in their news feed multiple times.

    @juleswebb OK.. thanks jules..thats  what i  thought too, …… im  trying to  believe that…the  6000 number  was what  threw  me…my insights  said  that  6000 unique  people   viewed  my   post…or  had a chance to….  and  that  big  number  sounds normal to  you? 

    i did  understand   about  the  difference  between  timeline appearances and   visits to page……  and   really  the  dormant  fans   probably didnt  view the posts …. ????  but  they were  there supposedly   and maybe  got  counted….

     i have  2800  likes on my page…and  6000 unique weekly views..thats  what  my  ?? is about.

    im  thrilled with facebook and  its  kind of  driving me nuts…i want it  to all click and make perfect sense……..   i have other issues with it too…like im  missing   some current   queries  that   get left in   old  posts or old  albums….i know there is a way  but  there are so many different ways and places  to look  as an admin… ….  i dont think  facebook always  makes it easy for us….

This includes Ads and Sponsored Stories that point to your Page.6,203-2.68%6/1/12 – 6/8/12  ON MY PAGES  INSIGHT  INFO…….. with no ads  or  sponsered stories    in the  week…im pretty sure my promoted post was  over with   all week too…
