I was just wondering what everyone thought the essential daily tasks are for social media. Is it writing a blog post a day or posting to Facebook everyday or commenting on other peoples posts everyday.
A list like this would come in handy!

running an editorial calendar for your facebook would be a wise move.
updating everyday is a little full on and your followers may get sick of you constantly doing it (i know i do with the people and businesses im connected to, to the point i just hide their updates).
making sure content is syndicated to facebook (you blog) is one thing to do.
i think its important to be on there, update it frequently (not everyday) by including a mix of updates and syndicated content. let the more controversial updates / polls you put up have its due course.
daily tasks? make sure new friends are acknowledged, comments and questions answered.
a weekly task list would prbably be more suitable

If you are not lucky enough to be able to sit at a computer all day to keep a constant eye on your SM then I would say use a device. I would say make sure you tweet/post engaging ideas, questions and topics. Post often, and never speak down to anyone or anything. For example if a celebrity scandle is in the news, don’t talk down(talk trash) about that celebrity. It negatively reflects on your character and business. Also, updating your SM sources like Twitter, Facebook etc once in a while to keep things fresh isn’t a bad idea . I hope this helps!
