    It may be a strange question but what are friends for.

    I have been a member of the Facebook Club for 2 days and in that short time have had 16 friendship requests. I did look around this site but could not find the answer to the question.

    Is it somehow linked to my Facebook profile/page.

    No it is not linked to your facebook. Friends on here are just simply connections IMO. They can mean nothing or they could be something. They allow you to find out a little more about specific members and if you share a common business link or maybe you need some advice on that subject, you’ll be able to ask one of your “friends”

    .  i dont  get it….we  can message if  we want to…. to  me the threads  are  social enough…i dont  want to hear about anyones love life!!!lol

    There are a couple reasons, @david-easter- one is that friends can give people points for the Leaderboard but we actually decreased the number of points recently so people still had to actually participate in the clubs to get on the leaderboard. 

    Another reason is that only friends can Private Message each other to get to know each other better.  You may want to take advantage of that or you may prefer to just participate in the forums, it’s up to you.  Thanks and welcome to the Clubs!
