Using Wildfire? (11 posts)

  • Are you using wildfire? Why or why not? How and when? It has been recommended by quite a few on here in the forum comments.

  • @deairby, I’ll put the link here also.  I have run tons of contests with wildfire.  Their support is outstanding!  I love their analytics as well.  In total I have problem done over 50 contests for clients.  I have also used offerpop, North Social, Rafflecopter and Shortstack. I have done all types from Sweepstakes, Photo, Essay and Video Contests.    So far Wildfire is my top pic.  Wildfire Video

  • @georgiamccabe – just watched the Wildfire Video.Seems like a flexible tool at a reasonable cost.

Find it interesting you can run a contest where there is no monetary value.

Also, I didn’t notice, but did the form have a spot to require subscribing to the blog or FB page?

  • Wildfire has been fantastic for us.  Wholeheartedly recommend it!

  • @tojosan You should be able to fangate when you are creating your actual welcome tab.

As for Wildfire, I love it. It was so simple to use for a non-designer, which I think is its best attribute.

  • I’ve used Wildfire a few times to run contests and was also impressed with how easy it is to get started and the excellent customer service.

One thing my client complained about was that it took too long for the pages to load in the contest. Did anyone else experience this problem?

  • I would love to use Wildfire, unfortunately when I asked them how they adapted to the international market (We are in Mexico City) they said they hadn’t yet. So I will keep wishing!

  • @pamelieux Have you tried using any other developers?

  • Well there are not too many geared for Mexico or Latin America. Which ones do you suggest?

  • Actually I am in search of an international developer to use because we have a client right now in Finland who I am looking to build a few custom tabs for.

  • I have 2 fan pages for our company. One is in English and one is in Spanish. I plan to use Wildfire to start running contests and wonder if I can use this on the Spanish page??
