Uploading icon for Facebook app tab (8 posts)

    Anyone else having problems getting app icons to upload?  I keep trying various image files on various pages with various apps and I keep getting an error message that says: Image Resource InvalidThe image you are trying to upload are invalid. It may be corrupt, of wrong file format or the wrong size.But none of the things it’s suggesting are valid.  I even tried to re-upload an image that I’ve successfully used in the past and it generated the same message.  And of course Facebook has no customer support to ask.
    Anyone?

    Weird @sharispiewak  I haven’t tried uploading any icons recently.  But I’ve been seeing a LOT of weird glitches with Facebook this week.  I’ll try and see what I find

    Wow @sharispiewak  I’m seeing that same thing, even with tab covers I’ve uploaded before.  Not sure what to try from this point, because there aren’t any “back doors” to that space.  Some apps have a way to upload an image from the app itself like Tabsite and Heyo and others.  But most don’t.   Hmmmm.  Have you tried different image file types?

    @sharispiewak  I even tried different image types, and different browsers.  And slightly different sizes.  That is SO frustrating!

    Yes, I tried pretty much every variable with the same result.  At least I feel better knowing it’s not just me, so thank you for looking it.

    I haven’t tried recently, but have you tried reducing the file size? When I uploaded mine I had to resize mine down to around 5 or 6kb for it to work. This was a couple of weeks back though.
