Uploading Email List to Facebook (6 posts)

    I have been having a heck of a time as of late uploading email lists to Facebook to invite people to my client’s pages. Anyone else having this issue? I have done this with success before, and now all of the sudden I cannot make it happen. Help!

    Okay – I figured it out! You must now have the email contacts in the first column and label it as “Email Addresses” – hope this helps some of you.

    @mich i am interested in doing more of this. can you tell me more about this process and are you using an Excel doc to upload the email addresses?

    @Robin O’Shaughnessy On your Facebook Fan Page go to Build Audience (upper left) and then to Invite Email Contacts. From there you can upload a .csv file (convert an excel to .csv). I have to tell you that it has been very quirky lately – I did this for several clients recently, some went out fine and without issue, then others were sent out as Friend Requests, despite the fact that it all looked fine and in order before I sent it out. This was just last week. But, as you know, in Facebook world, all changed mighty quickly, so for all I know this week all is fine ; ) Happy day to you!
