Hi all,
This is really cumbersome situation, sometimes it happens to me too. Many of my friends also have come across this situation where they are not able to select default landing tab in their facebook page using static fbml. I don’t know what is gonna happen but for something, i am sure this happens and i am sure this might have happened some of or many of you guys too. If you have ever faced this problem and have come up with the solution, and share it here, i will greatly appreciate you.

@moinshaikh Sorry to tell you but Static FBML was stopped being supported by Facebook back in the spring, that is why you are having problems with it, eventually all pages using Static FBML will cease to work, I suggest you switch to:
Static Iframe Tab by WooBox

thanks rick, you have put an end to my surprise, i am using static ifram tab for my one page, which still enables me to switch between default landing tabs. I got why this happens. Thank you once again @rlmosca

I’ve seen many cases where certain pages aren’t able to select a default landing tab @moinshaikh. I don’t know why that happens but I’ve seen it most often with pages classified as a non-profit. They many have to submit a bug report to Facebook.

i think this may be due to recent increase in A MUST FAN LIKES OF 10000 for a page, m not sure but have heard this sort of news that if a page isnt having 10k likes, it isnt allowed to use the feature of default landing page in facebook

No, that’s actually a rumor, @moinshaikh. I have many pages with less than 100 likes who have this feature.
