Track Facebook people who ”Unlike” page? (8 posts)

  • I am trying to identify people who decide to “UNLIKE” my pages.  I do not see any feasible way to track people who unlike my pages, and I am trying to track demographics and other analytics such as studying the length that someone has liked a page.  Any suggestions?  Doesn’t anyone else want to identify these patterns?

  • @davidouimet David, there are some Social CRM that will help you track who Unlike your Facebook page, I’m trying to recall where I saw that data but I’m unable to recall it. But, I would highly recommend that if you’re losing your fans and they are unliking your Facebook Page then you must need to revisit your social media strategy and look at your Facebook Analytics. Check to see what was working in the past and how many posts you were posting!

  • @davidouimet I used to manually update the names of all the fans on an excel sheet every week, and then find out who are missing, to identify those who have unliked the page. However, After the fanpage crossed 500 fans, Facebook doesn’t show the entire list of fans (it only shows list of 500 random fans). So after that point I was not able to pinpoint who has unliked the fanpage, making the whole effort futile. Anyhow it’s better use of your time to identify the reasons for the ‘unlikes’, from the Page Insights and correcting it rather than finding out who has unliked your page.

  • @davidoutmet If you find this out please let me know!  and thank you @tufee for posting the link to that article.

  • You’re welcome! @jaimetyler

  • I’m also looking for “granular” fan engagement metrics IE most engaged fans if anyone stumbles on that

  • @David Ouimet you may want to look at this list: http://goo.gl/k7HDe
I just installed http://www.booshaka.com which solved my “granular” metrics problem for now.
Admins please note new formatting problem – thank you

  • I’ve never seen or heard of a way to do this. And why would you want to anyway?
