Tagged Pics Have Gone Missing (6 posts)

    We ask our users to upload screenshots and tag us in them so that we can feature one each day.

    Today when I went into Photos, I noticed there are way less photos than usual in there. There’s usually about 200 tagged photos in there, now only 45 or so. Doesn’t seem to only be the most recent showing up as there are ones going back to July.

    Most photos tagged with our Page are from other Pages. Most of the remaining photos appear to be ones tagged by individuals, but there are some Pages there as well.

    Anyone else seeing this happening?

    @mikefreeman  I unfortunately can’t answer your question but I have a question for you…how were you able to have the users tag your page? I have not been able to get the business page tags I try to set to work in the past unless using them as the location of the photo. Is this what your users were doing or is there a way of tagging I haven’t discovered?

    @alexandrabriggs It’s a little finicky, but it seems that a Page has to have Liked the Page they are tagging in order to tag the photo.

    @mikefreeman Weird. I have tried that before but perhaps I need to try again. That’s added to my “to do” list now. I’m glad you say it is finicky because I was afraid I was just missing something…

    Photos tagged with our Page are still missing from our Photo feed. Even had someone tag us today (saw it in Notifications) but it doesn’t appear in our Photos tab at all.

    Still no one else seeing this problem?

    Odd – I’m not using photos in this way on any of my pages so I can’t say why this might be happening!
