Should I collect friends directly on my business page? (3 posts)

Topic tags: business, friends, page
  • Hi,

I am a bit confused! So far, I have collected some friends on my personal Facebook page and requested them to “Like” my business page. When switching to the business page and set that as default there are no friends showing, of course. Are the friends I gather on my personal page automatically also connected to my business page or do I have to gather friends specifically to the business page?

You can probably see that I am quite new to using the social media!

  • You are in the right place @leif-moldskred to learn about Facebook :)

When you log in as your Business Page, you won’t see your friends who have liked your page because you are acting as your Page and then Facebook doesn’t show you your personal profile activities if that makes sense.  If you navigate to your Page as your personal profile, you will then see the friends who have liked your Page in the right column just like you do on other Pages when you are looking at them as your personal profile.  Hope that makes sense!

  • Hi Andrea,

Thank you, very clear.I will hopefully pick up more basics as I go along, (with the help of others in here)
