Setting Up a web site TAB on Facebook business page. (3 posts)

    Hello friends! I am in the middle of process setting up a new Facebook business page for a business I started a month ago. I am using the help of my web designer guru with this one. He has came across my problem we have yet to figure out….I asked him to set up a TAB that says “My Website” so that when clicked it will take them directly to my website. So how is this done? Please send me some examples of Facebook pages that have already done this. The problem he is having is that he says he thinks the two sites aren’t compatible with htt stuff.You may email me examples if you would like to andysweightlossmadeeasy@gmail.com

    when you subscribe to their newsletter you get a full course of how to make a tab. If you know basic programming skills, it’s quite easy. You can use html. But you need a SSL certificate, because facebook tabs are hosted outside of facebook, so you need a hosting with a SSL certificate (HTTPS). When you have that, just reading the course in the link I gave you should do it.

    Mari Smith has this on her Page under the Free Webcast tab (you have to click the down arrow to see it)  http://www.facebook.com/marismith  She does this with the Woobox app http://www.woobox.com/statichtml  It’s the Static HTML app.  I don’t see the redirect option listed there but I know that’s the app that she used.   I’m wondering if they may have taken that option off – I thought it was technically against Facebook terms to have a one click redirect like that.
