Selling on Facebook (6 posts)

Topic tags: Aradium, e-commerce, Payvment
  • I asked this same question a few months back and got these responses http://www.socialmediaexaminer.com/clubs/facebook/forum/topic/selling-items-on-your-fb-page/

Someone asked about Aradium from Australia.  On Facebook they have 6K+ fans.  Has anyone used this tool?
In the previous post Payvment was mentioned and several others.  Any other suggestions?

  • I have been extensively testing Vendorshop and have been very impressed with them indeed.

I have tested around a dozen shopping systems as i need one to resell as they compliment my main app very well….so i have tested flat out and all the major other ones let me down in areas that i guess were deal breakers…Vendorshop hasn’t.

They have gotten so much better since coming out of Beta and what i like the most about what they do is the inbuilt viral functions that come standard and the guys behind it are extremely motivated and on the ball.

Put it this way, I tried them all and Vendorshop is the one I will be reselling to my customers who want a shopping cart set up.

    Cheers

    Scott

  • I have not tried Vendorshop or Aradium – very interesting options!

  • Thanks Dee, for posting this topic.

Scott – I too, am in the process of deciding on a shopping cart vendor.

In your testing, have you evaluated Big Commerce?

Can you give us any pros and cons about some of the ones you tested, that made the top-of-the-list?

What are some of the features you feel are vital, in order to gain your consideration?

  • @deereinhardt thanks  for  bringing this up again….im interested too and   used  the links  from this  thread  and the old one  you linked  to…

….  but  there are so many options…. i  really just want to   go to my  websites shopping  cart instead of setting up a  facebook   cart……  but  dont know if i  can have a tab  that  sends   you to  the website….i  tried to ask that  but   didnt  get   a  clear idea  if its possible…..

and now  pinterest is  entering  my world….i probably  have    many  connections  there who  might   be   buyers….

in otherwords im imagining a whole  new  business/having a brainstorm/…  info overload and   have  WAY  to many options….  etsy, facebook, a new website, already  bought but unused, ebay, ebay store…pinterest,  payvment, but i havent heard  much  good   about that….  vendorshop,  ……and im  scared  of  getting a dangerous  app…

so im hoping   for a lot  more   convos on this  topic….

i definitely  think i  have the right  inventory  and ideaa  for this…….unfortunately   i have  gone thru this  before and   web selling  has not worked  for us…usually we  jump in   with many of  hours of  work…then  realize  we  sold  more in one sunday  afternoon   at the store than   a month of work online…..but i have a new idea!!!

  • @scottlinklater

I would go with Vendorshop too. Good choice Scott.

    Cheers!
