Seek advice on Facebook Fan Page Builders (7 posts)

  • Any opinions on whether there are significant advantages to using a custom page builder/app provider like Lujure or ShortStack to customize FB pages? How easy is it to do within FB without using any of these third-party app providers?

  • @namipatel Hi Namita

ShortStack is brilliant. And they are free if you have under 2000 page Likes. It is worth doing and is fairly simple to use. They also have some great videos to help you if you need it.

  • Thanks Russell! So would FB marketing be a lot easier with these app builders than without them? Appreciate your feedback, as I haven’t played around with FB a whole lot.

  • @namipatel You’re welcome, Namita.

It’s not so much that these apps makes marketing easier. They just allow you to communicate a lot more than what you could normally do on a Facebook page.

  • Wonderful! Thank you Russell.

  • If you go with a different app, @namipatel you either have to create your own custom app yourself from scratch (which I think is a bit daunting even though I’ve done it) or you have to use a different 3rd party app like Static HTML for pages which is free but you need to use your own HTML code.
The good thing about the other apps is that they have drag and drop which is easy.  Sometimes the not-so-good part is that there is a monthly fee or a one time fee.  So you need to weigh your options.

  • Excellent advice @Andrea-Vahl. Thank you so much!
