Scheduling Post on Facebook (11 posts)

  • Is anyone else having trouble scheduling posts on FB?  I have been using the feature for a while and now I am unable to get it to pull up the drop down menu for scheduling the posts.  I have tried it on IE, Chrome and FireFox, I have tried logging into individual accounts instead of doing it from my manager site…I am now officially frustrated! ;)

    Thanks for any help.

  • @louisehendley Where are you having the issue? I haven’t had any problems scheduling, it was more being able to access my queue (which is now okay). 

    I type in my info and then select my schedule parameters (date and time). I’ve never seen a drop down menu…

  • it is in selecting the schedule parameters (date and time) that is what I was calling the drop down menu.  I can no longer get it to come up.  I click the button for scheduling and nothing happens.

  • Weirdly, that has happened to me a couple times.  However, if I switched from a personal post on my business page to posting as my company, it started to work again.  Every once in a while I have erased my post and started over to get it working again.

  • @louisehendley Have your tried clearing your browsers cache/cookies?  That may clear up the problem. 

    @virtualgina It doesn’t matter which, you can schedule on a page with both.

  • @Nicole_Schlecht – thanks  I am aware but was asking since I had noticed the issue only when I was trying to use it in my profile but never in any of the pages I manage so thought it might be that there was a bug in profiles.

  • @louisehendley The “facebugs” are out.  I schedule posts every day.  Right now, I will post them and it looks like the words are still there.  When I open a new browser window and look in the activity log, (go to admin area on top of Timeline. Click on first tab that says Edit.  Menu drops down, choose Activity log)  where it is showing.   That is how I know they are still working.

    Try that and see how it works.

  • Hey guys sorry I was a away for the weekend.

    @randithompson, I agree, the ‘bugs’ are out.  I have now just started reporting it on each page.
    @virtualgina I am posting on my clients pages.  That is the weird part.  On some pages I don’t have any problems on others it won’t schedule no matter what I do. 
    @iamconsulting  I have cleared my cache, gone to a different page, tried posting from the top bar, tried posting from the home page… It sometimes will work and sometimes won’t.

  • I am having the same issue, but I have only tried it in Chrome.  I shut everything down and reopened Facebook. 

    I would love to know a solution for this as well!
