Removing content from Public view of Cover Photos (3 posts)

Topic tags: privacy, settings, Timeline
  • Hi guys,

I am trying to research a way to remove the comments made in my Cover Photos so that anyone in the “public” view can’t see them. I realize the “Cover Photos” are viewable to the public, but can’t seem to find a way to hide posts made about them. I don’t want to remove the posts made on the photos within my Timeline but afraid removing the pictures all together is the my option.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you!

  • So if I understand correctly, @bridgetteschwartzbauer – you are just looking to remove the comments within the photo (like if you click on the cover photo, you see comments next to it?)  Any comments on a photo can be removed just by mousing over the comment and clicking on the x.  So if it’s a comment within the picture itself or a comment on the Timeline post that was made when you uploaded the picture, you can remove them by clicking on the x.

Also, on your post that shows up in your Timeline when you uploaded the picture, you can delete that post and it won’t actually delete the picture, just the post that you uploaded a picture.  Hope that all makes sense!
