1 year ago: We switched from a profile to a business page over a year ago by first setting up our business fan page, inviting our over 700 friends to like us and then removing all content from our profile and posting a message stating that we wouldn’t be posting anything new on the personal page and a link to our new business fan page. From that point on, we only posted to our business page.
Once our fans outnumbered our friends – which took at least 6 months – we “turned off” our profile page. We didn’t delete it – it still exists – but we deactivated our account and now only concentrate on the business page:
