Projectors for MacBooks to conduct Facebook training (5 posts)

    Does anyone have any suggestions for projectors for MacBooks. I need to purchase one to do training. Appreciate your input.

    I just got an Epson EX3200 and love it.  Fairly affordable (compared to some options) and very clear picture even in a light room.  I don’t think there is any issue with MacBooks – I think it’s just a matter of getting an adaptor but I’m a PC girl so if anyone can shed light on that, please chime in.

    @andrea-vahl Thanks for the recommendation. I have been looking at different options for a few months and it’s always helpful to hear from someone who has used the product. Ah, recommendations from friends through social networks. I think I’ve read something about this phenomenon :)

    @kathyweir something that we began doing in one of our meeting/training spaces is using a large flat screen television that we plug into. It is mounted so others can see and has been working great. We still use projectors as well and the one Andrea recommended is a good one! It really depends on the size of the training space, projection wall/screen, etc. in regard to what will work best. Be sure to look for HDMI plug-ins or the adapter for VGA. A few people have Macbooks in the office and they frequently use the Mini DVI to VGA adapter so they can use all of the different projection equipment!

    @alexandrabriggs I think the use of a flat screen is great for a permanent facility. It doesn’t make sense to go any other way. I was looking for something for the road. We currently have an office for our telecom business. However when we close it at the end of the year, hopefully the building will be sold too. I have made this request on Facebook and the replies I have gotten within our forum has been the best. Just goes to prove there is value in what Social Media Examiner has been providing. Thanks
