Problems to open business page as administrator (7 posts)

    I can’t get in as administrator and is not the first time, Is a general problem or just me?, how can I fix it?

    @hildaalanisgonzalez Under the top-right of the screen there should be an upside-down triangle next to the HOME link. On that you should be able to change the “Use page as” and select your business page. This is how you log-in as administrator. Are you the only administrator on the page or are there others? If there are any other administrators they may be able to assist if you are locked out.

    You need to be logged in under your personal profile that is set up with administrator access in order to get to the page.

    @alexandrabriggs Thanks Alexandra, yes, I’m the only administrator, usually it come by itself, but going the the right top as you say, I don’t have the option to change to my business page, I have two more pages, just for fun, and I have the option to switch to my other pages, but not to my business page. Sure, mine main account is my personal account, and from that account I made my business page, but for several days, I have been there just like one more fan.

    That is frustrating, @hildaalanisgonzalez – it sounds like somehow you were removed as the administrator and that is not a good thing since you were the only one.  I would report your problem here:  http://www.facebook.com/help/issues/pages  There isn’t a great exact fit to what you are describing in these help issues but I would try the official route.  Is anyone else posting as your page?  Do you know the mobile address to post from an e-mail update or do you have access via Hootsuite?

    Hi Hilda,

    I had a similar issue where I was unable to access a business page I was an admin on.  I never found out why it happened but I would go to the actual page and it would start to work again after I made an edit. It hasn’t happened to me for a few months so whatever it was, it worked itself out.  I’m not sure if you’ve tried accessing the page but it’s worth a shot.  
    In the meantime, if you can get in, set up another admin.  I have a lot of email addresses, I’m assuming I’m not the only person with more than 2? =)  At least then you’ll be twice as likely to get in!

    @iamconsulting @andrea-vahl @alexandrabriggs, thanks all you, finally I did it, I tried to open a new business page and was there were I had the opportunity to send a feedback about business pages, I reported my problem, I didn’t get any answere back, but my problem was fixed. The first thing that I did Nichole, was to add a new administrator for future problems like this.
