Problem with setting up a Facebook Ad (9 posts)

    Can anyone help? I was setting up an ad campaign on Facebook but as soon as i click on ‘Place Order’, I get this error message, below is the error message i get;

    There was an error

    The text has a word that is longer than 20 characters in length. Remove this word to continue., Transaction validation failed — The transaction AdproTxnCreativeCreate failed its validation check.


    Please who has an idea what this is? And what i can do to continue with my Ad campaign set-up.

    Hi Dan,

    That error message refers to a single word with the content of your ad or title that is more than 20 characters which is the limit.

    @iamconsulting But remember that there’s a number count, so if i exceed the count i’ll know; moreso i’ve checked the body of my content and it’s fine; the title was chosen by Facebook themselves…

    I really don’t get

    The count is for the total number of characters.  The error is referring to a single word.  It could be one of those weird Facebook issues.  Can you post the ad content?
