Posting on a fan’s page (4 posts)

    Is there a way to post on a fan’s timeline? We want to start thanking people that like our business page.. any suggestions for us?

    If I understand your question correctly: As a Business Page, you cannot post on a fan’s personal profile to “thank” them for liking your Business Page. 

    And you cannot send a generic message to all your fans either – as far as I know…

    The only thing I do is post a big thank you on my Business Page every week or so to thank all my new fans for joining me.

    I will be happy to stand corrected here by anyone…;-)

    You are right @yasminbendror. What you suggest is a good solution to this.

    If you want to thank each fan individually, there are also less “obvious” ways to show your appreciation to people:

    - You could go to the fan’s profile, see if they own a business page and Like it. Surprisingly, I can usually tell when people do that to me. It’s a good gesture.

    - And you can always wait until they comment or share one of your posts and Like that activity. That definitely shows that you have noticed them and appreciate their engagement.

    I am responding to them on my clients business page and they seem to be notified as they will come back and respond.
