    Has FB changed/altered their paid posts?  Last week I did a post promotion and reached 9k people fore $8.  This week I promoted a post and reached 800 people for $3?  Anyone else experiencing this?

    Think they adjust it as they go along.

    Paid $20 and reached 30,000 then paid $30 and reached 18,000

    I haven’t been doing enough consistent promotion to see but I’ve heard a lot of different things happening around the promoted posts @chrisparker

    I just tried one yesterday to check some things out and the weird thing I noticed is that the post got a lot more interaction than normal but the Talking About This score has not moved and it should have.  Frustrating!

    Very frustrating indeed!  I don’t see how a company can create a budget for FB advertising if the algorithms change every week.   This is how a multi-billion dollar company is suppose to run?  ”adjust as they go along”?  I’ll be holding off on promotions for the time being.

    I think the PTAT number is “buffered” I’ve had some high impact posts – 500 likes 200  shares that didn’t move the need then 2 days later PTAT will climb and the next day it will decline – total disconnect with whats going on on the page.

    I think Sergy & Larry are smarter than Mark Z and the 1/2 petabyte of daily input coming into FB could probably be managed better

    or
    all the children working at Facebook are playing Foosball and then the losers twiddle some numbers – just a theory
