I FOLLOWED  a members  post on here, jenetta ,, presenting  the     IDEA THAT  NO PICTURES   WOULD   UP  YOUR  REACH ON  FACEBOOK…… i have over 3000 fans on  my page and most of the time got over 1000  views until   right after  sept 21…..  going  from my normal  1000 reached  down to  4 or  5oo…and my posts always had  pictures  ……..

so  in the last week i   put up  4 days of posts with no pictures  and   each one  got back  up to   over 1000 in reach….today i put a picture up and  got    under 400  reach….

this is  so wierd….why would pictures  make such a difference?   and  what is  going on  with   everyone elses  pages?  i noticed  russel  said  to   try and  go  by  the rules….but what in the heck are they? i love my pictures …and  so do my  fans…i thought i  got al those fans  by  following the  facebook  rules!!!lol…guess not…

is anyone  getting anymore info  on this?

When I post text, without pictures, I get a higher reach. BUT, when posting pictures, the virality figure is higher.

This is what I can see so far. I will keep an eye on this. Seems weird somehow.

.we   have  3600  fans    mainly  built  by using  great pictures…… now   my picture posts have flallen off the  cliff..down by half….and my   words  posts  are about the same as they were before  sept  21……….  ..with no  change on my part… @itsmikemags ?????

this is very typical of what I am seeing these days.. fb is simply blocking both photo and “pulled link”( with the small photo) updates.

My guess is that photo one will max out around 800 views.. unless it somehow picks up more interaction..
