There are several business pages I would like to “like” from my Facebook professional page profile, in addition to my personal profile…but when I search (as my professional page) for the business via Facebook search, the page does not show up in the results. Does anyone know why this is, or what I should do differently?

@essentiallyali I occasionally have the same issue when trying to like pages from my professional page. The work around I have done in the past is copying the link for the page before I switch to using the business profile. It doesn’t always happen to me but for some reason it does every once in a while.

I don’t know why that is either @essentiallyali but the Facebook search is different when you are logged in as a profile or a Page. It seems like it should still find the same Pages. But I just do the same as @alexandrabriggs says – copy the Page URL and then log in as my Page and go to that Page to then Like it. Irritating that there are extra steps needed!

On my IPhone I can copy the URL (if I don’t I get an error message saying this action is not possible), then open my page paste in the captured URL and then I get the error message. I don’t have a search bar on my page to look up other pages or people whether on the iPhone or desktop.
