I have a client that would like to sell some items via their Facebook page. Does anyone know an app for that? Also, is there a seamless way to send the person a thank you (via email – as we would like to capture their email address) and order confirmation? Thank you!

There are a few email marketing companies that offer Facebook forms you can integrate with an automation program that will allow users to fill out a form and automatically get a confirmation or thank you email sent to them.  I’d look into one of these.

Hubspot.com and Infusionsoft.com have these types of programs, they are a little spendy but have amazing segmentation ability.  

Aweber.com and Constantcontact.com also have similar programs available. Constant Contact has “Social Campaigns” and offer templates to help you get started.  They also integrate with your email marketing account so you can send out thank you’s & confirmations.  I believe aweber is just a sign-up form.

There are also some other apps like Wix.com - http://pages.wix.com/ppcfpa/fb_commerce_201 and shoptab.net that do Facebook stores.

Other apps for selling are Payvment and Ecwid.
