Opt-in Rate of New Visitors (2 posts)

  • Since the introduction of timeline for pages and the demise of default landing page some 6 months ago, I’ve experienced a very poor opt-in rate from new visitors for my two pages despite creating a clear CTA in my ‘About’ section and the custom tabs. Has any one here experienced likewise or otherwise? If you’ve experienced otherwise, would you please care to share your strategy. Thanks in advance.

  • Yes, the optin rate has gone down for me too since default landing pages have gone away, @louisteoh  It’s hard to beat that prominent position of the default landing page.

    What has worked for me is doing ads straight to the optin page.  The frustrating thing is that you are paying for that :)  I also do post the link to my optin tab occasionally on my Timeline and that helps.
