Not for pages. 5000 friends is the maximum number of friends a profile can have but pages are not effected.

The only thing to consider is if you have a community page or a page not defined properly, facebook can take it off of you if it is considered to be a general style page that covers a broad “community topic”.

The best way to avoid this is to mark your page as a website and consider having a normal website to support the fact that there is a genuine entity at play.

This is something very few pages ever need to worry about and not until they reach at least 10,000 fans.

In reality this is not a concern for any genuine business pages.

There’s a certain rule that change when you reach a greater number of fans, and that is the ability to change the name of your page. We recently discovered this when we considered of changing domains with that we also need to change the name of our page. We discovered that only those with lower than 200 fans can change the name of their page.
