Customer service at Facebook! I just got the following information:
On April 26, we will be updating the size of the profile picture on all Pages. We are letting you know about this small change in advance so that you can update your profile picture on April 26. The new profile picture will be 160 x 160 pixels and will sit at 23 pixels from the left and 210 pixels from the top of the Page.
Great that they also mention where the picture sits, so that we can nicely integrate it into our cover image.

I just noticed that they have already re-sized the profile image on my personal page and with the white border included it is 169X169px

I was wondering about this too, I hadn’t seen anything official from Facebook so I was curious about the source. I wanted to be sure about the accuracy before sharing this information.
I did confirm my person profile has the change too, and I posted a screenshot of the comparison between my profile and page over on my fan page. The screenshot shows the dimensions as I inspected the css
