New Facebook ”Pages” Promotion (3 posts)

    Have any of you tried the Facebook Fan Page promotional tool yet?  It seems as though Facebook has dropped the number of likes that your page needs to have in order to promote a post. You only have to have 100 “likes” now to be able to do this.

    In the past, advertising on Facebook has never really helped my page.  However, they must have re-vamped their advertising because I can spend $5-$10 to promote my email list, and usually end up with anywhere from 10-80 subscribers every time.

    Anyone noticed a positive change in this as well?

    I’ve been doing more advertising on Facebook this last month @wade-harman and had a lot of success.  I like the promote a post feature too but it is frustrating that we aren’t being seen as much organically.

    I have researched this more in depth, and for me, the $5 promoted posts are reaching just as many people as the $10
