New Customers From My Facebook Hobby Page (5 posts)

    I have a website and blog on the same domain selling power tools, hammers and pliers etc.

    I am about to start a Facebook page for the tools and also a page for sea fishing.

    Although sea fishing is my hobby, is there any way I can use this page to drive traffic to my Facebook tools page and website.

    If there is an effective way to do this I will start pages for my other hobbies.

    I am not talking about spamming here, just getting added benefit from my hobby pages.

    Any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Is there a big cross-over in audience, @david-easter?  Do you see a lot of sea fishing people who are also into power tools?  I think there would be some and I think it would be ok to mention your power tool page from time to time on the sea fishing page.  But it would probably be best if it was minimal because you still want most of your posts to be about sea fishing.  What are other’s thoughts on this?

    1a – Prepare a mini ebook focused on your audience (“10 tips all fishers should know”, ” Fishing tutorial”…)

    1-b- Alternatively, create a video with the same ideas as above

    2- Announce these materials in your hobby blogs

    3- Grant access to these materials only to those who like your facebook business page

    Andrea  @andrea-vahl I have been thinking about the best way of posting my power tools on my sea fishing page. I think you are right, I will put a text/picture post of the power tools every 15-20 fishing posts and see what happens. I think if it’s done in a laid back casual manner it may mix in OK.
