Greetings, Social Media Enthusiasts!
Meet, introduce yourself, and network with peer club members who live or work in the Midwest Region here. The Midwest Region includes these states:

IL, IN, IO, MI, MN, MO, OH, WI

You’ll find me in both the SE Region and International Region Forums, having lived in both Atlanta, Georgia, USA and Republic of Georgia (former Soviet Union), but made these seven regional forums so we could all network with those who work or live close by.

The seven forums include the International Region and six for the USA: NE, SE, MIDWEST, SW, MTN, WEST. Please help your neighbors find these regional forums so we can all help each other find each other! Thanks for your help.

we have a big store in indiana … http://www.greenoakantiques.com and sell wholesale and retail….on the wholesale side we sell store counters and cash wraps and displays to businesses all over the midwest…. we use architectural salvage and work with local carpenters… we have a big retail following too… we sell antiques, new gifts, garden iron and rehabbed things….
we do extensive web marketing and altho im very non tekkie…i want our internet efforts to be top notch..i oversee the marketilng but cant do the actual work..we do most of our web work in house….. . we are 100 miles north of indianapolis …stop in sometime!!!

Hey this is great to network and will be a benefit to all of us. I assume IO means Iowa so correct if me if I am wrong. I am in Iowa.
I sell retail natural bath and body products, home & garden decor and products for those who homestead/offgrid with solar, and a simplier lifestyle, etc.
In addition, do web design and especially have been working lately with new women entrepreneurs.
I have began again in business and switched directions totally. So….have much work to do in the area of facebook, blogging, etc but so excited to be going again and connect with all of you!

Our physical store for TJ Formal is located in Joplin, Missouri @boundlessjen- you aren’t the only one!

@boundlessjen We were VERY fortunate that the store was not in the path of the tornado. I grew up there so my mom and sisters still live there and all of them were on either side of the path. Many friends and family, including some TJ Formal employees, however, lost their homes. I visited there a month after and it was unlike anything I had ever seen – just horrible. Still brings me to tears. And it unfortunately did affect our business. People are still looking for homes and trying to get back on their feet and are not in the market for formal dresses.
We are doing a project to help high school students who were victims of the tornado get to prom by giving them free dresses, shoes, jewelry, etc. Many of our manufacturers have helped out as sponsors. Joplin Extreme Prom
