@janani-eswar Was the page originally a “place” and not a formal business page? I encountered that with pages I claimed that were created as “Place Pages.” I was not able to find a way to change the display option on that page. @Andrea-Vahl do you know any other instances when this may occur?

Yes, @janani-eswar the way this happens is that you have this categorized as a Local Business.  If you want a regular About section, then switch the category to Company or Brand.   (Go to Edit Page, Update Info and switch the category)

You don’t need to be categorized as a Local Business (even if your business happens to be local) unless you really want people to Check in and you have a store-front.  Hope that helps!
