For three (3) weeks now I have not been able to schedule any Facebook posts to my Fan Pages using HootSuite. I have sent a direct message to HootSuite Fan Page and have not heard back yet. Is anyone else having this issue? Does anyone know if they are fixing this bug with Facebook or will the service be suspended? Better yet, how are you dealing with your early morning and late evening posts.

I haven’t had any issues at all with posting to Facebook fan pages with HootSuite. Try reconnecting your Facebook account. It may be a Facebook issue and not a HootSuite issue. If you still have trouble, tweet the help desk. @HootSuite_Help

I am having the same issue! I did reconnect, it looked like it was all set and did not post this morning! I am almost ready to jump ship to something else. Does anyone have any suggestions that are cost effective, would appreciate your thoughts!

Can’t say i’ve experienced any problems. I’ve scheduled with 3 different accounts and they all posted fine.
Hootsuite was down last week and has scheduled some down time on May 4th.

Thank you everyone for sharing your thoughts. I will definitely try to reconnect like @pattitacardo-fousek suggested and will use for sure the Twitter help if I’m still out of luck. Thank you @scolleague for the heads up on May 4th, totally appreciate it.
I really like and enjoy the benefits of HootSuite, so I’m willing to try to fix this issues but if it does not work, what other similar software do you guys use, know or will you recommend?

@systaley Can you schedule a message but it doesn’t get sent/posted to Facebook? If so then it’s your Facebook connectivity.
Where are you using HootSuite from? Your desktop? A pad? A phone? If it’s a mobile device … I would suggest removing the app completely and reinstalling the app.
Do you get any error messages?

@systaley I’ve also been able to schedule posts to Facebook – I think trying a Facebook “reboot” would be a good idea by disconnecting the account and reconnecting.

I had the same problem sending from Hootsuite to LinkedIn. I had to re-connect with LinkedIn.

Thank you everyone for your thoughts. I followed these instructions one by one and was finally able to fix my problems. Since then, it’s been working great! (knock on wood!)
If anyone is still having issues I recommend doing the same. Not sure why or how stop working but the good news is that it’s it can get fix!
