    A client recently found that someone had posted negative comments about their hospital on his own timeline, but it wasn’t marked public. 

    (I’m assuming a friend of the complainer brought it to their attention.)

    Is there a listening tool (Radian 6, etc.) that can find these type of posts that aren’t made “public” but rather posted to an individual’s timeline and shared w/friends?

    @rich-brooks  I typically use the basic http://www.facebook.com/search and filter by Public Posts on the side bar.  Make sure you click “see more results” at the bottom when you start the search.

    Other tools that do the same thing but makes it a bit easier are: http://fbsearch.us/  or http://www.fbinstant.net/

    But again, these are searching just public posts and sometimes it’s surprising what you find from those!
