Linking YouTube Channel to Facebook Page (13 posts)

  • Hello all,

I’ve been digging around for an answer to the question of how to link my YouTube Channel to my Facebook Page. I’d like to be able to upload videos and share it to my Facebook Page instead of to my personal profile. I have not found an answer to this and it seems that YouTube makes this difficult.

    Any ideas would be welcome!

    Regards,
    Brian

  • @brianjohns – I know that Involver has a Youtube app for Facebook.  I have not used it yet, but it adds your YouTube channel as a tab.  Check their site here.

  • @brianjohns and  @lisaschulteis – Yes Involver has my favorite YouTube App.  There are several others for Pages and some of them are paid.  You can take a look at how the App looks on Grandma Mary’s Page :)  http://www.facebook.com/GrandmaMaryShow?sk=app_57675755167

It is supposed to “autoshare” your uploaded YouTube videos but it does not do that.  Or I don’t have it configured it right.  It’s easy enough to reshare them from the tab though.
I have another YouTube app loaded but not updated on Grandma’s Page:  http://www.facebook.com/GrandmaMaryShow?sk=app_2513891999  That one I believe is very manual, you have to select which videos to display.

  • @brianjohns @lisaschulteis @andrea-vahl so glad you asked this question and glad to see some answers

  • @brianjohns Search a site called. Shortstack. I think you can add a tab with video for free! Very customizable. I love it! Check it out!

  • @brianjohns  Hi Brian & all others,

Having looked at quite a lot of FB pages it seems as though the most used way of linking a YouTube video is by linking the URL of each video to your FB page.

That way you can add your own comments to that particular video !

  • I cast my vote for Involver’s YouTube app as well… it’s fantastic!  Here’s one of my client’s pages on which we use this app.  And it’s very easy to install as well.

  • To all, sorry for my late response as I’ve been buried! Thank you all for your suggestions and tips!!

  • @brianjohns You can also share it  directly from YouTube now to any of your pages, personal timeline, group or a friends timeline.

–Under the video, click share, then click Facebook and choose where to share it and you can leave a comment too!

  • @brianjohns simplest way is: http://www.facebook.com/YouTubeApp

go to this app, install this app to your page, insert your youtube channel/account name and you’re done!

  • @danhoward @moinshaikh Thanks for the suggestions!

  • +1 for involver (oh the irony….)  :)

    i use it.

  • Definitely recommend Involver’s free YouTube app. The installation is super simple, takes a few minutes AT MOST, and I’ve never run into any problems.
