@richardmclaughlin Hello Mac! The story was also reported at numerous tech sites with the fact that it wasn’t just a list of passwords, it was an encrypted list. Yes, anyone can post a list of passwords, but is anyone going to take the time to create an encrypted list with a few million passwords – most with “linkedin” or “harmony” included as part of them? That is a red flag I think. Apparently, according to Ars Technica and Wired, the site and the user are known for password hacking, though that should be taken with a grain of salt.
