I’m amazed at the number of people with a Facebook Page that is not linked to their Profile so it can be found and LIKED.  Most people are not going to take the time to search through the About section,  try to find a website, and hope they’ve listed their ‘join me on Facebook‘ link so you can find their Page.

I hope the following will help new Facebook Businesses get their Page found.

Link to your business from Facebook Profile

You can make it easier for people to find and LIKE your page by adding your Facebook Business Page to your profile.   

On your Facebook Personal Profile Timeline:

Click UPDATE INFO – enter your Business Page in the ‘Where Have you Worked’ field. This connects you with your business, making it quick and easy to find your business, and of course, LIKE your page. 

 Without this step, your Profile links to the generic Facebook Business Page.

Did you type this all directly into the new update @melowout ?  I’ve seen that type of thing when people do cut and paste and sometimes there has been flaky postings for no reason I could figure out.  So I’m not sure.  I’ll edit it out.
