  • can i have a  link  to my webpage   on a tab?   i have a product i might   want to offer online….  we have a shopping  cart  on our  web….  …..can i put a link to that page     on   my  facebook  tab?

or   do i need to  check out the aps  for  selling….?

    thanks

  • Hi @annfurnivall, Yes you can put a link on a tab directly to a product on your websites shopping cart, in fact some of the check out apps just do that. I think that’s what I would recommend to do too. I apologize I can’t site the source, but I know I just read somewhere that people are more comfortable checking out on a website rather directly through facebook. Maybe if you created a nice product facebook tab that linked to you website? Do you know how you’re going to create the tab?

  • Shortstack is a wonderful online service for managing all you FB apps (or tabs) using one interface. They offer a free account so you can check them out without obligation. They also have a channel on YouTube with loads of tutorials to help you learn how to use their services. Their interface is very non-techy friendly, but for those of you that do like to code your own apps they give you that option as well.

  • Shortstack is great for a custom tab!  You can also use something like Lujure and you can upload a photo of the product, make that photo clickable, and have some text about the product with a link to the checkout page. @annfurnivall

  • Shortstack is the easiest way to do it. @annfurnivall
