  • Hello fellow Facebook pros. This is Jerry I just set up a business facebook page.

Could you please visit and give some fedback.  Please help. I am a newbie to internet markeing.

    Facebook pae    http://www.facebook.com/WheelOfLifeSuccess

    Thanks

    Jerry

  • Jerry, for a start mate, you need to like your own page! I just became a fan of your page before you did!

Get a few people you know to like it and spread it around for a start.

I haven’t got time to go into more detail now but will try later (its 5 am here and no i didn’t just get up lol)

  • Oh you need better graphics mate…the wheel of life is unreadable in your profile picture and your timeline looks sloppy coz it isn’t high enough resolution.

Pin a post to the top of the page too that explains exactly what your business is all about and use a nice graphic to help support the text re what it is you do.

I don’t know what you do from the quick look i had…i couldn’t tell you other than it has to do with balancing everything in life?????

So clearly define what it is you do and then put forward your biggest BENEFITS AT THE TOP OF THE TIMELINE PAGE!

  • Jerry….checked out and “liked” your page.  Interesting concept that should lend itself well to Facebook.  Should be easy for you to make daily posts on topics that fit into your “wheel”.  I would probably also like to see how various members of your team use the wheel in their daily lives.  Maybe you could have a post once a week or so that spotlights someone and how they got into using your “wheel” and how it has impacted their lives.  Make it personal and fun and definitely get friends, family, etc. to “like” your page and spread the word.  Good luck!!!

  • @wheeloflife247 I do like your about section since it tells more about your mission but the profile picture does need to be clearer.  It looks clear in the wall picture but make sure it can scale to 180 x 180 pixels.
I also think you need a few more posts – all I see is a post about online games and it looks like advertising.  I’m a little nervous to click on it because I really don’t even understand what it is about before clicking.

Do you have a website?  If so, make sure you link to it.  I think having a website is a good thing to do even if you don’t have one now, think about creating on.  It gives your whole page more legitimacy and gives people a way to learn more about you.

  • Thanks for the comments. I am working on changin the profile photo I can’t make it look good at he 180- x 180 pixels size. ALso I will change the video and the link to the gaming sitte. I also working on creating a blog / website.   Tanks for the info from everyone so far.

  • @wheeloflife247 You’ve already gotten some great advice here, but I would add maybe changing your Timeline cover image entirely, to real people who are happy and successful, etc., to give your page a more warm and inviting, less “corporate,” feel.

As you begin adding content, I would definitely, as someone suggested above, illustrate real-world results from folks who have implemented the “wheel of life” philosophy into their daily lives.  That way, when someone lands on your page, they’re immediately intrigued by and interested in your content, and they stick around to read more.

I would also begin adding your apps to the page — Notes, Events, your other social media profiles if you have them, an email opt-in form for whatever free offer you plan to have at your website, etc., or just whatever you think is appropriate for your target audience.  Adding a few apps there — you can have 12 total, 4 above the fold (these are the ones that show on the page) and 8 below the fold (those you see when you click the down arrow) — would make your page more visually appealing.

Of course you’re just getting started, and you’ve got a good start! Being active here in the forums here will also help you tons!  : )

    Good luck!

  • “The Wheel Of Life Success Group is a business that promotes Family friendly, high quality, moral products and services that benefit every area of your own personal wheel of life.”  I actually would change the ABOUT section.  I wouldn’t lead with the fact that this site is about promoting products and services.  I would lead with something more like “Learn how to increase success…”  Become happier & more successful with our proven strategies for….”  Don’t know enough to really put any benefits out there…but have the ABOUT be benefit driven.  Also…more posts with tips about how to improve those areas in the wheel as well as the testimonials that someone else mentioned.  I always recommend that a person have about 100 “tidbits” (facts, tips, photos of interest & relevant to the topic) ready to go – with at least 15 of them posted – before going public and then “rolling out the remaining tidbits – which is a lot easier now with FB’s new timed posting option.  You’re off to a good start!!!
