Is there a way to have other bloggers syndicate their blogs to a page? (7 posts)

Topic tags: networkedblogs, pages
  • I started the page Author-Blogger Connection a while back for authors and bloggers to come together. So far my blog is syndicated on the page. Others have links to their blogs. I’m wondering if I could somehow let them syndicate their blogs to the page, say through networkedblogs? Is this possible? And how do I go about doing it?

  • @markoetjens I am moving this over to the blogging group since this is more relevant there than the Facebook group.

  • @markoetjens I reccommend Feedburner to Twitterfeed to FB page or Twitter. watch this video. http://webinationstation.com/blog/connect-your-blog-to-facebook-page-and-twitter-automatically/

  • @alexandrabriggs Just curious why you moved this? Sorry if I wasn’t clear enough. I’m asking how to allow other people to syndicate their blogs on a Facebook Page?

  • @markoetjens I moved this because of the basis being on BLOGGING. I didn’t realize that you meant on Facebook, but I also think those in the Blogging forum would be able to assist more since there are those in the Facebook forum that do not Blog. This information would be most helpful to Bloggers and those in the Blogging forum and more likely to have answers.

@Andrea-Vahl do you have any input?

  • It definitely crosses two clubs, @markoetjens @alexandrabriggs – but I think mark is right since it really will pertain to Facebook Apps that you use to import blog posts.

I recommend the Facebook app RSS Graffiti to bring multiple blogs into one page. The thing I like that app is you can restrict how many overall posts you have so if you have lots of blog posts coming in on one day and it would be too much to publish you can limit how many post.  I’m not sure if it will try an repost the ones that didn’t publish the next day or just skip them which could be an issue.

You can also use Networked Blogs to post multiple feeds to a page, just find the blog on Network blogs and you will see a Syndication link that will allow you to publish it to your Facebook Page.

    Hope that helps!

  • @andrea-vahl Thank you! That’s the exact information I’m looking for. And thanks for the support.
