Quick question for all – I created an event as a page, for my client, can I invite to it the Fans? I only see the “invite friends” when I log on as a person, then I do not have the list of fans. Am I missing something? Also any ideas for promoting an event, a major one, that worked for you – would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Tamar

No you can’t, @tamarnaveh-koren – that is one of my least favorite parts of the Events pages is that Fan Pages can’t directly invite their Fans. You just have to post and repost a link to the Event as a status update and tell people to RSVP and invite their friends.
You can invite your personal friends (and if some of your personal friends are fans then that works really well) but you can’t directly invite Fans. Irritating!
It’s easier to promote a free event by just posting on the wall, inviting as many people as you can and encouraging them to invite their friends. You can also advertise the event.
