Hi Everyone!

Does anyone know how to integrate your fan page with Google Analytics? I understand that the FBML is no longer in use since 2011 so I’m wondering if there is another way that’s not too developer inclined for the marketer.

what do you want to track with Google Analytics? Facebook Page, or a custom application / tab pinned to a page?

I suppose you mean a Facebook Tab, because you can not track a Facebook Page with Analytics, you have to use Insights.

If you want to add Google Analytics to a tab, then the process will be different for each tool in which you can create custom tabs. Can you please share the URL to the tab, so I can look at it?

Or you can check the “Reach” section of Insights. There are numbers of visits to your Timeline and tabs. (it’s the last section on the bottom)

Article contains an example how to set up Goals. With goals you can track which social network brings more leads, sells more goods, etc.

And regarding a Static HTML tabs – you can still track visits on these tabs with Google Analytics. Just add a tracking code to the HTML of the tab.
