Greetings everyone. I am new here and I am looking forward to growing with you! I have been a facebook user for a while I have 10K fan base but with the recent changes it does not mean anything. Facebook has made it harder to keep post active.  Facebook is charging to reach your already list of fans. I am not happy since the changes I been affected as I am sure others are feeling the crunch. any advice on getting through it would be appreciated.

Hi, I have a registered name for my blog that I went through the paper work for several years ago.  It is: Waving or Drowning® .  that I just tried to claim it as a username for my Facebook page.  It is not available because someone else claimed it.  I know I have the “legal” right to the name, so am wondering how Facebook handles this or how I should proceed?  Any thoughts?  Ever encountered this issue before?  Thanks.

Where do I go to ask for help with perspective and a different point of view on what we are doing on Facebook? I just attended the webinar today and it seems that we are doing a lot of what the 9 sample pages used in the webinar is doing but we aren’t seeing near the results. Can someone help me please?

I’m still quite new to Facebook, I started it April last year mainly for business purposes under my personal name, which I didn’t really like and so I opened another one under our language school’s name. It seemed right to add children that way who are, or were our learners rather than under my personal name.

I started a business page this year too and am trying to learn the ropes as I go along so I’m all ears to great advice from everyone willing to give it.

Hello, when I resize a picture so it shows properly in an album for our company facebook it shows up blurry on the main page. What can i do or use to fix this.

I have just joined this amazing space and had a question:-
I have just joined a company that has 14 Facebook pages. they organise and run mass participation events mainly in the UK consisting of runs, cycles etc. Because the, for example, runs are in different locations, they have gone with a different page for each area/event. My question was – would it be worthwile consolidating all the different “runs” pages into one or would you say keeping them as seperate events would work better?
Any help would be great.

Hey everyone, I’ll give you a quick run down of who I am and what I do. My name is Christian T. I work for Right Start Mortgage as their Social Media marketer, and since this position is new, I’m looking for ways to expand myself. I try to spend at least 10 minutes on this page a day, but I’ve had some trouble with facebook, primarily because most of my friends aren’t ready to get mortgages yet, they’re all in college, so I need to try marketing to new people, any adds count. Scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours! lol nah I’m just looking to learn.

Since I observe FB is also about scale I am not sure if it is better to have for example a FB account for individual hotels but maybe compromised with attracting a lot of fans, or segmenting rather by target audience like for example Brand and Holiday traveler or Brand & business traveller etc.Surely a purpose of visit segmentation could attract more fans, or even by Geographic region like McDonalds does?  I am personally getting confused if I see brands with 100 of profiles for various products for example…. not sure if there is the ultimate solution. So I guess it comes down to if the engagement is based on the purpose of travel or linked to a connection with a particular hotel? Not sure if the question is clear but keen to hear your view?
