Welcome!
I just wanted to make sure everyone knew where to find things, and how to navigate around just in case you missed some of these links in the Home Page of the Clubs.
First if you are wondering how to do things (send messages, start a new topic, etc) then read Kristi’s great Getting Started Guide.
Make sure you know all the rules of what you can post, where to post it, and more in our Club Rules Note that affiliate links and blatant self-promotion are not allowed and will be removed. We’re here to help each other and learn! Also, try and keep each Club on topic.

Have you tried linking your Facebook account to your account? Gravatar is a free service where you simply upload your photo and identify the email addresses you want it associated to

@monica13997, you can definitely choose fb photo for your SME club image. Do following:
Go to fb(login i mean), click on your profile pic at right side, then your profile pic will be displayed on page (say album or like that) then again click on that picture, and when the profile picture fully opens, right click on it and select copy image location or copy image url, then switch to your SME Club profile tab, edit your profile> choose avatar> and paste that copied link in the SME Profile avatar link box. That’s done! I have tried and tested this so i’m confident of it to work!

@JamesBelanger… The same thing happened to me when I started. They don’t like it when you are too ambitious. You just tried to friend too many people at once & probably some you don’t know so a few may have clicked “I don’t know this person” Slow & Steady… Create great content, make relevant comments on busy posts & they will begin to send you invitations.

@jamesbelanger Lay low on your friending activity for awhile, even if FB allows you to start friending. Your account gets flagged and in doing so, will just give you a 14 day notice. Engage more and let new friends add you as a friend, after about a week or two you can resume adding friends. Add 10-15 max a day and you should be ok. TC

As you can tell I’m unprepared and late to the party. My name is Rudy, entrepeneur and online marketer. Ask me about Adwords (no probs), Ask me about SEO (no probs), ask me about Facebook, NO CLUE. That’s why I’m here.
I am currently putting all my eggs (my experience) into one basket by creating a site with a lot of potential for success and something I can to till I die (phruugle). I will get more into the site in another post.
I have created a facebook page , now I’m stuck. How to get friends, fans, likes. I will be launching my site within the next 2 months, so I do have time to figure all this out. That’s why I’m here.
Hopefully by being here among like minded people will be a great experience.

Following a year in the position of a B2B sales rep for a social media marketing services agency I became less than excited with the quality of services that were being provided to clients I had signed, so I recently launch my own business. My professional background includes years of ad sales in most every type of media, but as everyone reading this knows, social media is a whole different animal. With limited funds available I need to attract additional clients by providing exceptional service to my current clients. Have to admit to stummbling a wee bit here and there. However, I am learning as I go, and I bring some good marketing sense to the table.

Hello everyone, I have just joined SME and look forward to some meaningful tips and discussions on blogging on social media. My company, Greenearth Culture, is into eco-friendly construction of resorts, cottages, gazebos, cabbanas, restaurants, pool bars, etc. with bamboo as the main material. We have recently developed a handcrafted bamboo veneer ‘Chiva” an ec-friendly alternative to surface lamination like Formica/Sunmica and Veneer. It can also be used in product design and packaging.
