    I just created my first fb ad and I can’t tell if it’s in play or not.
    After selecting all the ad info I landed on the “Review Ad’ page that has the “Place Order” or “Edit Ad” options. I selected the “Place Order” and went on to the next step where I selected paypal as my pymt.

    Once that was finished I was presented with a window to add a coupon code, which I did. After submitting that I was again presented with the “Review Ad’ page that has the “Place Order” or “Edit Ad” options. I’m confused, how do I tell if the ad has been activated?

    Can anyone tell me what I should be seeing?

    @juleswebb  If you go to  http://www.facebook.com/ads/manage/campaigns/ you should be able to see what’s happening.  Sometimes it takes awhile to approve it so you’ll see the status as Pending.  But if it’s running you should see that it’s getting views.  If the Reach stops incrementing, go in and check the bid price.  The bid prices fluctuate so if yours falls out of the suggested bid range it will stop showing.

    I went to the link you provided and I see that my credit has been applied
    Successfully redeemed coupon for $50.00 USD.
    But that’s it. I’ve tried several times to create the ad. Now when I try and click on the “Place Order” button nothing happens.

    I’m starting to wonder if it’s censoring my ad. I created a poll asking “Is Facebook’s acquisition of Face.com cool or creepy?”

    It’s a little racey, but it’s hard to believe that FB would prevent it from posting.

    I can’t view your Ads manager, @juleswebb but I would think that they would just not approve it, not totally lock up your account.  I’ve seen polls like that before.  I’ve had an ad declined that was about a Facebook workshop I was running.  
    What happens if you go to http://www.facebook.com/advertising and click on the create ad button?  Something sounds funky with your account.

    @andrea-vahl I followed the link you provided and used the “Create an Ad” green button. Took me to the same form I’ve been filling out. I filled it out again and got the same result. Tomorrow I’m going to try creating an ad from another computer, see if that works.
