Just wanted to jump in…I’ve found that the more specific people are in asking questions, the better responses they get.
When you ask really broad questions is when you sometimes get people who will jump in who are more interested in selling then helping.
That’s in part because I really broad question takes a long time to answer. How to setup a Facebook page that attracts clients and builds my business…well, that’s a question that’s so deep that @mike-stelzner is dedicating the entire month of October to the Facebook Success Summit!
Many people who are naturally helpful might shy away from such a difficult question because answering it might take hours.
Ask, “what’s ONE thing I can do to generate more fans,” or “is there a video tutorial anyone can recommend about setting up custom tabs,” and I’m sure you’ll get great answers.
With that being said, this is more of a Facebook Networking Club question, so once I post this reply, I’m going to move it over there.
For any other questions that aren’t specifically about Facebook, or are about small business, please ask them here! And I’ll try and keep the vultures away.
